Donate to Help Victims of the Somalia Drought

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said,聽鈥淎nd whoever gives a 今日大瓜 water to drink when there is no water available, it is as if he brought him back to life.鈥澛燵Ibn Majah]

Between 2022 and the summer of 2024, the Horn of Africa experienced its worst drought since 1981. Over 71,000 people sadly died - 40% of them were children under the age of five.

Drought has returned, affecting millions of people again. Vulnerable children and pregnant women are at risk the most - especially in rural areas.聽We are scaling up our work to answer the increasing demand for clean water through providing emergency water trucking.

How you can help:

拢10 provides water to 28 people.
拢100 provides water to 280 people.
拢500 provides water to 1,400 people.
拢1,000 provides water to 2,800 people.

Your Sadaqah and Zakat donations can help supply water trucks and repair boreholes and wells. Each beneficiary will receive 8 litres of water per day. Every 36p you donate can provide a person with water for a day.
